Artist, designer, photographer and film-maker Arik Levy was born in Tel Aviv in 1963. Nowadays, he works from his own studio in Paris. Arik moved to Europe in 1988 and graduated three years later with Honours in Industrial Design at Art Centre Europe, in Switzerland. After a stint in Japan, where he focused on products and objects for exhibitions, Levy came back to Europe and focused on contemporary dance and opera stage design. After establishing his own firm, he returned to the design and arts fields. He is mainly respected for his furniture and lighting designs. His works are displayed not only in prestigious museums and galleries, but also in the product portfolios of companies all around the world.
