One of Australia’s leading furniture designers, Ross Didier and James Richardson Furniture, have come together to create a compelling furniture range with Gunzel and Helm. The rD range strives to create useful and democratic furniture design with an understated utilitarian charm. The range celebrates the modernist clarity of structure and industrial aesthetic but ultimately seeks to reveal the inherent soul of its products.
Ross undertook rigorous experimentation, maintaining incredible honesty to materials and a deep respect for process. Ross’ philosophy of working to a strict code of conduct in his push for accessible quality. The range is a nod to luxury but continues to search for real interest in the belief that true integrity is revealed through individual character and experience.
The collection is made up of tables and chairs, under the Gunzel moniker and a range of multi-purpose modular seating called Helm. rD by Ross Didier is exclusive to James Richardson Furniture.
